Known also as the Conference of Stars, the Constellations is the name given to the combined consciousness and intent of all Cosmic entities, most notably the Astrals. Though Astrals are not particularly powerful on an individual level, the magnitude of their shared intent and knowledge is the basis of the Constellations, the hive-mind of sorts that regulates the actions of the Cosmic entities. Though the Constellations exist as a notion that broadly refers to the driving force behind the behavior of Cosmic entities, the Constellations themselves, while considered deific in power, have never directly intervened in the workings of any world.
The broad name of Constellations is also misleading, in that it implies these entities act as a singular front; the truth is rather that the Constellations are made up of many individual groups and families that each have their own view and belief as to the purpose of the world. The thirteen most powerful families of Astrals, and as such the thirteen core members of the Constellations, are Aries, Taurus, Gemini, Cancer, Leo, Virgo, Libra, Scorpius, Sagittarius, Capricorn, Aquarius, Pisces, and Ophidius.
